An award-winning civil engineering contractor, has an excellent opportunity for a Site Engineer to develop their expertise and contribute to high-quality infrastructure projects. You will play a key role in site operations throughout the entire project cycle, working across sectors such as marine and coastal works, highways, flood defence, bridges, and ports and harbours.
Key Responsibilities
Site Operations & Supervision
Oversee daily site operations, ensuring work aligns with project plans and specifications.
Set out works and verify levels, alignment, and measurements.
Collaborate effectively with contractors, suppliers, and project teams.
Identify risks to project delivery and resolve or escalate promptly.
Conduct progress reviews and report updates to site management.
Compliance & Quality
Inspect materials and completed work to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
Ensure all necessary permits are obtained before commencing site activities.
Address non-compliance or quality issues, escalating as required.
Health, Safety & Sustainability
Promote safety as a core value across all activities.
Identify, report, and address safety concerns, escalating where necessary.
Support HSEQ and Sustainability objectives, communicating updates to the team.
What You’ll Bring
Third-level qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering & Management, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a civil engineering role.
Full driving licence valid in the UK/Ireland.
Flexibility to travel and work on multiple projects across the UK.
