A full timestaff nurse position has become available in the Dermatology department atBarnsley NHS Foundation trust.
You must be aflexble self motivated nurse who enjoys a challenge and deliveringcompassionate care to the highest clinical standards along with a customerfocus to improve the patient experience.
There is greatpotential to enhance your skills within this role to future proof thedermatology service in the Barnsley area as we will be moving our services toHealth on the high street giving you the opportunity to become involved indeveloping services out in the community.
Main duties of the job
We deliver anumber of Dermatology clinics within the department, clinician and nurse led,including, skin cancer surveillance, phototherapy, minor surgery, clinician andnurse led, drug monitoring and biologics clinics. Photodynamic therapy,iontophoresis, wound care, leg ulcer assessment and camouflage as well as 2wwskin cancer and general dermatology clinics.
This is anexciting opportunity to develop your role within the department supported bysenior members of the team. You will work within a multidisciplinary teamsupporting junior members of the team and have access to training specific tothe role.
