The 144-room Ibis Bridgwater – opened in March 2021. and incorporates a ground-floor bar, restaurant and meeting facilities.
As our Receptionist, you will be much more than a check-in expert — you’ll be the host, guide, and first impression for every guest who walks through our doors. If you love people, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in great service, this could be the perfect role for you.
No hotel experience? No problem. If you have a background in customer service and the right attitude, we’ll provide full reception training.

The Role
We are looking for a responsible and reliable Hotel Night Receptionist to join our team. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and smooth operation of the hotel during the night, while providing excellent customer service to our guests.
Key Responsibilities
1. Welcoming and assisting late-arriving guests
2. Managing night check-ins and check-outs
3. Ensuring the security of the hotel during night hours
4. Carrying out regular security checks and patrols
5. Cleaning and maintaining public areas, including reception, corridors, and guest facilities
6. Setting up breakfast areas and carrying out light cleaning duties
7. Handling guest queries and resolving issues professionally
8. Completing night audit tasks and basic administrative duties
What We’re Looking For
9. Previous hotel or customer service experience
10. Availability across weekdays, weekends and public holidays - 22.30 to 07.00
11. Friendly, calm, and professional manner
12. Ability to work independently and make decisions
13. Strong attention to detail and reliability
14. Good communication skills
15. Comfortable working overnight shifts
16. Basic IT skills
