Applications are welcome for the above Fixed Term, part time (16 hours per week) post based in Royal Infirmary Edinburgh.
Applications are invited from enthusiastic candidates to join a well established Medicine of the Elderly frailty team.
This is a new post which will join 2 consultants in providing senior clinical decision making and support to the Front Door Frailty team. The post will contribute to the provision of Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment of older adults living with frailty presenting to the Emergency Department (following assessment and initial management of acute issues by the Emergency Department team). This is an innovative way of working, aiming to provide specialist frailty input early in the patients hospital journey. The team has a home first ethos and utilises the hospital at home, rapid access day hospital and other community services to support timely discharge from the ED where possible
