We are delighted to be assisting our family run client in Fraserburgh who are looking for nightshift Class 1 Drivers to join their growing team on a full time permanent basis. Hours of work: 12 hours shifts - 4 on 4 off Duties & responsibilities: Transporting of goods from Fraserburgh to Bathgate. Load and unload the trailer individually, using a mix of manual and electric Material Handling Equipment. Full training will be given at the clients Distribution Centre. Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs and invoices. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries. Essential skills and qualifications: Clean CE Licence (Class 1) Valid CPC & Digi Tacho Card Reliable & Trustworthy Well Presented Able to work as part of a team and under own initiative Experience with refrigerated and curtain sided trailers preferred. Due to Insurance, applicants must be over the age of 25 and a minimum of 2 years demonstrable experience. Cabs are fitted with fridge & microwave.
