Role Overview:
As Product Manager for JATO’s Leasing Portfolio, you will be responsible for driving the success of leasing-focused products by delivering scalable, commercially viable solutions. You’ll own the entire product lifecycle, from market discovery to go-to-market execution, ensuring both customer value and business growth. Your mission is to position JATO as the leading provider of automotive data, insights, and solutions in the leasing sector.
This hands-on role demands full P&L accountability and a strong blend of commercial acumen, product strategy, technical understanding, and stakeholder leadership. You’ll collaborate across engineering, marketing, sales, customer success, and data teams to identify market needs, define the product roadmap, and execute effectively. You’ll also champion product adoption and engagement, delivering measurable outcomes that drive commercial success.
Key Responsibilities:
* Define and drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Leasing products.
* Own product revenue, usage growth, customer adoption, and P&L metrics.
* Lead go-to-market execution including positioning, pricing, packaging, and enablement.
* Develop and maintain a roadmap aligned with JATO’s Leasing strategy and commercial goals.
* Prioritise initiatives based on customer value, revenue impact, and technical feasibility.
* Oversee product backlog, delivery plans, and release cycles with engineering teams.
* Translate strategy into clear product requirements and manage documentation in JIRA and Confluence.
* Coordinate cross-functionally across sales, marketing, engineering, customer success, and data.
* Embed customer feedback loops and data-driven decision-making into product development.
* Monitor KPIs, market insights, and forecast performance to identify and address gaps.
* Support product launches and strategic account engagements with tailored messaging and demos.
* Partner with Marketing to ensure strong external positioning and impactful sales materials.
* Conduct internal enablement sessions to align teams on product capabilities and value.
* Represent Leasing products in cross-company forums and strategic discussions.
* Maintain deep market insight and competitive awareness to inform product direction.
Key Requirements:
* Strong understanding of the automotive and leasing ecosystem.
* Proven track record in product management, ideally in automotive, SaaS, marketplaces, or data-centric industries.
* Experience with data-led product propositions, including APIs, datasets, and SaaS models.
* Background in B2B product environments, ideally with multi-market or multi-segment complexity.
* Commercial awareness of go-to-market strategies and pricing models.
* Solid grasp of agile product management and lifecycle practices.
* Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable roadmaps and delivery plans.
* Strong commercial acumen, including P&L ownership and revenue modelling.
* Skilled in stakeholder management across cross-functional teams.
* Excellent communicator, able to simplify complex concepts and present to diverse audiences.
* Proficient in product tools like JIRA and Confluence, with a structured approach to backlog and release management.
* Familiar with product marketing processes including positioning, messaging, and launch execution.
* Experience delivering commercially successful products with measurable business impact.
* Hands-on experience with API-based products or technical data platforms.
* Exposure to customer-facing activities such as pre-sales, onboarding, and post-launch support.
