This is an established, niche insurer offering such opportunities.
This is a fully remote role, allowing you to work from home every day.
Within the 2nd line, you’ll partner with 1st line operations across the entire business, including Claims, Underwriting, and Distribution, to support effective risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring activities.
You’ll oversee and challenge 1st line risk management processes, controls, and decision-making, especially concerning operational and conduct risks. You’ll support the enhancement and implementation of the company’s risk management framework, lead RCSAs, develop risk assessments, and conduct risk appetite monitoring with 1st line stakeholders.
You’ll assist in preparing and delivering risk and compliance reports to senior management, Board committees, and regulatory bodies as needed.
There’s ample scope to make this role your own, and you’ll be encouraged to continually challenge the status quo, fostering a strong risk culture across the business.
Ideal candidates will be experienced Risk professionals from the Financial Services sector, with broad Risk experience across multiple disciplines, including Operational and Conduct Risk. Prior Insurance experience is advantageous but not essential.
You should have experience developing risk assessments, executing RCSAs, and possess an analytical mindset, curiosity, and eagerness to learn. Excellent communication skills are essential.
