You will be joining a well-established Satellite Communications team based in Tewkesbury. We create Satellite and Terrestrial communication solutions for aircraft ranging from commercial jets to autonomous drones. The multi-disciplined team includes Systems, RF, Electrical, DSP, and Network engineers, all collaborating to produce exciting products. We have significant influence in air-to-ground (ATG) communications including LTE, GSM, VHF, and others throughout Honeywell. We are also involved in Data and Control links for UAS and participate in government initiatives like ARTES and IRIS.

We seek experienced Satcoms Engineers with 10+ years’ experience demonstrating proficiency in:
* End-to-end communication systems design integrating software, digital, and RF systems
* Understanding of satellite communication protocols and systems, from physical layer to network layers
* Developing requirements, system design documentation, test plans, procedures, and operational procedures
* Matlab modem simulation and/or IP networking, protocols, and data security
* Full product lifecycle development for aeronautical applications
Qualifications, Skills & Experience required:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree or equivalent in Software, Physics, Electronics/Electrical Engineering or related fields
* Broad Satcom knowledge across multiple systems
* Excellent communication skills; proficient with MS Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
* Ability to plan and organize technical efforts across multiple projects
