We're supporting on a very distinct legal project to start ASAP and needs support until the end of this year, meaning we're looking for a registered Paralegal who is available for the next few months (and to start week commencing 20th or 27th October) to support on an urgent project with a company based in Amersham.
Our client operate within an FCA regulated field and are specialists in the leased goods and services industry, so it would of course be ideal to find someone with that kind of knowledge and experience - But this isn't essential.
As part of this project you'd be getting involved in 3 core areas:
Training and Guidance of members - Working with members of the organisation to help produce complaints policies sets of templates etc.
Helping clear a backlog of agreement requests, amendments and updates.
Horizon planning and preparation for 2026 - This one is going to be an area that comes as a bonus to the project, if there is time for it after helping to complete and get the business comfortable with the first 2.As mentioned above, any kind of leasing, automotive or FCA regulated body experience would be of great benefit - But realistically we are open to registered Paralegals who are commercially minded and can catch on quickly; someone who's able to look through high volumes of agreements and pick out the correct/key information and utilise that.
The offices are based in Amersham and the current small legal team operate on a 2 in and 3 out basis, but for this role they can be even more flexible.
With this being a temporary project, this will be paid on a day rate which will be the equivalent of a £50k salary (to be confirmed and up for discussion), which would be an approx. £200 day rate plus holiday accrual.
What do we need from you:
Experience as a Paralegal, Lawyer or similar - Ideally with exposure to leasing/automotive but this would just be beneficial.
This role has the ability to be flexible with hours (so long as you can put in a full time workload) and office/hybrid - But ideally being close to Amersham for meetings and to initially get in and set up would be ideal.
