Become part of a team working on large-scale creative projects in an inclusive, collaborative environment within Rockstar North. This is a full-time, permanent, in-office position based in Rockstar’s game development studio in Edinburgh, Scotland.
WHAT WE DO
* We create and maintain software tools used by all game development disciplines to support Rockstar Games projects.
* Tools range from digital content exporters, a data processing asset pipeline, game, CI/CD automation systems, and UI editors.
* We work to improve global communication between Art, Code and Design to ensure a clear workflow with transparency of moving parts for fellow developers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Provide Production support to Tools teams.
* Establish and maintain processes to standardise planning, tracking, reporting and communication across the department.
* Deliver development schedules, milestone objectives, status reports, and other supporting documentation clearly and accurately.
* Triage, assign, prioritise, and track tasks using in-house project management tools.
* Assist development teams in identifying and resolving issues preventing progress.
* Monitor and report on the team’s bug and task queues using internal project tracking tools.
* Coordinate agenda-driven meetings, ensuring action points and key information are clearly communicated and tracked.
* Generate and share reports that communicate significant development milestones within the team.
* Build and maintain relationships and communication processes across related teams to align dependencies.
* Install Production changes and improvements across assigned teams in line with Tools Production team plans.
REQUIREMENTS
* 3+ years of experience in Production, Project Management or QA in a technical delivery setting, working on complex technical products or projects.
* Practiced in an Agile software development environment, organizing and tracking large amounts of information.
* Experience with large-scale Programme / Project Management software.
* Familiar with hosting meetings, delivering presentations and facilitating Agile ceremonies unsupervised.
* Knowledge of triage processes, ideally in software development projects.
* Excellent attention to detail, initiative, pragmatism and problem-solving skills.
* Great interpersonal skills and ability to work closely in a team across functions, departments and locations.
* Confident communicator who can coordinate and facilitate meetings with team members of varying seniority.
* Eagerness to learn and improve new workflows and tools.
* Highly organised and efficient multi-tasker.
PLUSES
Please note that these are desirable skills and are not required to apply for the position.
* Project Management or Product Ownership certifications.
* Experience with reporting software, reading and creating/maintaining reports.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
* Passion for and knowledge of the Gaming industry.
