We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Auditor to join a long-established, independent firm of Chartered Accountants based in Leeds City Centre.

You will have the opportunity to work with a range of clients, keeping your work varied and interesting, whilst encouraging you to progress within the firm.
As a Senior Auditor, you will be responsible for:
* Planning, executing, and completing statutory audits of clients, both on-site and in the office.
* Leading audits on-site, ensuring audit procedures are adhered to fully, all hours are correctly recorded, and budgets are met.
* Supervising, mentoring, and supporting the work of less experienced team members.
* Producing work for Manager and Partner review, clearly highlighting technical or client-specific issues, and providing possible solutions where required
* Performing “accounts preparation” jobs as and when required.
To qualify for this Senior Auditor position, ideally you will meet the following:
* ACA or ACCA qualified or near completion
* Experience working to a Senior Auditor level within an accountancy firm.
* Pro-active team player, confident liaising with clients and colleagues.
* Good interpersonal skills, telephone manner, and written English.
