Shift Pattern:
8:00 AM - 6:00 PM on a two-week rolling rota:
* Week 1: Wednesday Thursday Friday
* Week 2: Monday Saturday Sunday

Your role as an Assistant House Keeper / Cook is dynamic and meaningful. Every day holds a new adventure, as the needs of our residents guide your activities. You'll bring your expertise in both cleaning and kitchen health and safety, ensuring that our environment is not only spotless but also fosters a sense of well-being. As a cook, you'll craft healthy and balanced meals that resonate with our residents' preferences. Your ability to minimise food waste and utilise kitchen equipment efficiently is essential to our goal of sustainability and a well-run service.
Our ideal Assistant Housekeeper / Cook
* Minimise Food Waste: Your expertise in preparing meals is coupled with a commitment to minimising food waste, a crucial element of our holistic approach to care.
* Kitchen Audits: Completing regular audits for both housekeeping and kitchen operations is pivotal in maintaining our high standards and creating a nurturing environment.
* Consulting Residents: By engaging with residents, you ensure their voices are heard, their needs are met, and their preferences are integrated into your daily tasks.
Desired experience:
* Knowledge and experience of working within a health and social care setting
* Understanding of supervisions and creating rotas, as well as a knowledge of managing and running a team
* Experience in ordering stock as well carrying out monthly stock checks
