Teaching Assistant - Primary School (Tameside)
Tradewind Recruitment are currently working with a friendly and supportive Primary School in Tameside who are looking to appoint a dedicated and resilient Teaching Assistant .
This role will predominantly involve supporting a child with challenging behaviour, working on a 1:1 basis to help them engage positively with learning and daily routines. The successful candidate will provide consistent support, helping the child to regulate emotions and build positive relationships within the school environment.
The ideal candidate will:
* Have experience supporting children with SEND, particularly those presenting with challenging behaviour
* Be patient, calm and firm, with a consistent and nurturing approach
* Be committed to building a strong, positive rapport with the child
* Be resilient, proactive and able to work closely with teaching and SEN staff
