We're looking for an experienced and hands-on Manager to lead our new wine bar, serving an exciting mix of fine wines, creative cocktails, and small plates. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for hospitality, an eye for detail, and the drive to build a great team culture.
What You'll Do
* Oversee daily operations of the bar and floor, ensuring smooth service and an excellent guest experience
* Lead, train, and motivate a team of bartenders, floor staff, and chefs
* Manage stock, ordering, and supplier relationships (wines, spirits, and food)
* Deliver high standards of presentation, service, and product knowledge
* Create and maintain staff rotas, ensuring cost-effective and efficient coverage
* Handle customer feedback and resolve issues with professionalism
* Support in planning events, promotions, and seasonal menu updates
* Ensure compliance with licensing, health & safety, and food hygiene standards
What We're Looking For
* Previous management experience in a bar, restaurant, or hospitality setting
* Strong knowledge of wine and cocktails, with a genuine passion for food & drink
* A natural leader with excellent people management and communication skills
* Organised, reliable, and able to balance hands-on service with back-of-house duties
* A proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, social environment
