Description
* Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment within the facility.
* Ensure smooth operation of production machinery to minimise downtime during peak seasons.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults promptly and effectively.
* Collaborate with the engineering team to implement improvements and ensure compliance with safety standards.
* Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to maintain equipment reliability.
* Support the team in maintaining operational efficiency during seasonal production periods.
* Adhere to all health and safety regulations while working on-site.
* Provide technical support for continuous improvement projects and upgrades.
Profile
A successful Electrical Maintenance Engineer should have:
* A recognised qualification in electrical engineering or a related field.
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices.
* Ability to work effectively during both regular and peak operational periods.
* Experience with preventative maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Offer
* Competitive salary ranging from £40,000 to £55,000 per annum.
* Day shifts from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, with an early finish at 2:00 pm on Fridays.
* Seasonal shift patterns (July-September) with 56-hour weeks, including 16 hours at 1.33x pay.
* Overtime compensation for hours exceeding 40 per week at 1.33x pay.
* Two weeks of holiday during the Christmas period.
