The company develops advanced temperature-controlled systems used in precision research and clinical environments worldwide. Salary: £45,000 - £55,000

Responsibilities
* Develop refrigeration systems
* Use analytical and numerical modelling to optimise system performance
* Define and review refrigeration system and component specifications
* Produce technical documentation to support ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 compliance
* Support product testing, guide test engineers, and analyse results for improvements
* Support manufacturing processes to meet safety, quality, and performance standards
Qualifications
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering; MSc or PhD in Heat & Mass Transfer advantageous
* Strong background in thermodynamics, heat transfer, and refrigeration system design
* Proven experience in structured product development (DFM, FMEA, ISO 9001)
* Skilled in mathematical modelling of thermal or refrigeration systems
* Proficient in Refprop, Flownex, and SolidWorks (CAD)
* Effective communicator with strong documentation skills
