GSL Education are recruiting a reliable Cover Supervisor to support schools and ensure continuity of learning during short-term teacher absences. This opportunity is available across Doncaster, covering areas within DN2 and DN6. As a Cover Supervisor (CS), you will oversee pre-set lessons, manage behaviour, and keep pupils engaged. This role offers valuable hands-on experience in education. Prime Responsibilities: Supervise classes using work provided by teaching staff. Maintain a calm, safe, and well-managed learning environment. Encourage pupil engagement and positive behaviour. Respond to basic student queries and provide support where appropriate. Report any concerns or issues to senior staff. Requirements: Previous experience working as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar school-based role. Strong classroom presence and behaviour management skills. Good communication and organisational abilities. A professional approach to safeguarding and school procedures.
