An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a specialist legal firm in the Complex Injury team dealing predominantly with Claimant Multi‑Track RTA cases, however experience in EL/PL and OL claims would also be welcome. The team is made up of 5 fee earners with a direct assistant and a shared assistant with admin support from a central team.

Job Description
As a Fee Earner you will run your own caseload of Multi‑Track personal injury cases with values ranging from £80k – £1m+ all depending on experience, under supervision from management, to an effective and satisfactory conclusion for clients.
Responsibilities
* Take instruction on a case and proceed with the job
* Run your own caseload
* Assist from letter of claim stage through to settlement or trial
* Deal with new claims or claims that have started life in the MOJ Portal which turn into Multi‑Track cases and have been dropped from the process
* Deal with rehab and initial needs of a client
* Visit clients
* Manage clients, keep them updated and informed when needed
* Tackle and draft statements and obtain all early evidence in support of liability if required
* Obtain medical records, review and assess what medical evidence is required
* Instruct medical experts and review and obtain any further medical evidence
* Draft schedule of losses
* Assess quantum
* Prepare and draft court proceedings and other court documents
* Instruct counsel
* Work well within a team
Place of Work and Hours
The Complex Injury team works on a hybrid rota: in the office in Doncaster on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday every other week and one Friday a month. The rest of the time is working from home with full equipment provided. Full‑time hours are a 37.5‑hour week with some flexibility depending on locality to the office, but it also needs to suit business needs.
