Data Scientist – Maidenhead
We are seeking a results-driven Data Scientist. In this role, you will apply advanced analytical techniques and develop predictive models to extract actionable insights, optimize processes, and support decision-making. You will work on diverse data-driven projects, collaborate across teams, and implement scalable, high-impact solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Data Analysis & Modeling
* Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
* Develop and optimize machine learning models to address business challenges.
* Conduct A/B testing and experimental analysis to validate hypotheses.
* Data Management
* Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
* Design and build efficient ETL pipelines for data preprocessing.
* Implement automated tests to ensure reliability of data processes and models.
* Stakeholder Collaboration
* Define project goals and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
* Present analytical findings and recommendations to diverse audiences.
* Develop domain expertise to identify modeling opportunities and inform feature creation.
* Technical Leadership
* Mentor junior data scientists and review modeling projects.
* Stay informed on emerging industry trends and best practices to enhance team capabilities.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
Experience
* 2+ years of experience in data science or analytics.
* Proven expertise in machine learning, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling.
* Experience designing experiments and modeling solutions for business problems.
* Preferred Qualifications
* Proficiency in Python or R (R knowledge is a plus).
* Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
* Familiarity with data visualization tools.
* Experience with AWS or cloud platforms is advantageous.
* Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
* Effective communication and presentation abilities.
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
