Main duties of the job
The Sterile Services/Decontamination Engineer will be responsible for the provision of Engineering Maintenance and breakdown support to the decontamination hub. Providing competent Technical, Health, Safety and Environmental support & assistance. Offering support and advice to Technicians and Engineering Assistants in carrying out their day to day responsibilities. Ensuring that all work orders are reviewed within MMS and allocated with appropriate resource for each task within their area of responsibility.

1. City & Guilds Part 3, HNC, NVQ Level 4 or equivalent preferably in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
2. Experience in managing and co-ordinating Contractors and Service Engineers
3. Understanding of Quality Management, customer satisfaction and the continuous improvement process.
4. Comprehensive understanding of Health and Safety guidelines and applicable law
5. Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
6. Strong organisation and time management skills, particularly in an environment with multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities.
7. Sound fault finding techniques
