Location: 3 - 4 days per week based at our North Acton Office.
What You Will Do PLM management including, uploading of tech packs/artworks, colours, setting up of BOMS and training new team members where necessary.
Email and supplier correspondence.
Sample management from brought to development samples.
Approval of trims, strike-off's, artworks & lab dips.
Critical Path management.
Ensure design and creative areas are kept presentable and tidy.
Colour Palette work including creating colour palettes, ordering colours and colour management processes.
Support the teams setting up seasonal Miro boards, build garment range boards, keep boards updated during the creative process, archive at the end of each design block.
Sketch into samples/shapes/prints/logos, dropping in print where directed.
Embroidery & artwork packs.
Research into competitors and inspirational brands.
Meeting prep: before internal meetings be on hand to help set up rooms with print outs and/or samples.
Accurate note taking in meetings.
Design tracker management.
Organising copyright process.
Overview The Design Admin Assistant provides strong administrative support to the Design team as well as design based tasks. Reporting into a Designer, they work collaboratively across the design departments including with the other DAA's and the wider team. You will be an integral part of the team. Strong relationships will be built with Buying counterparts too.
All tasks will be approached with positivity and resilience, and being a team player is a must.
The Boden values will be reflected in all areas of work as well as an understanding and affinity with the Boden core customer.
What We Are Looking For A positive and enthusiastic attitude towards all aspects of work.
Interest in childrenswear design.
Good basic knowledge of competitor & aspirational brands.
Keen interest for colour/print.
Excellent CAD skills including Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop.
PLM experience preferable.
BA hons Fashion Design/Print/Illustration/Textiles Degree.
A relevant internship would be desirable.
