You will spend 80% of your time working in school and 20% attending training delivered by our teacher training partner, the National Institute of Teaching. This training will lead to the award of qualified teacher status (QTS) within thirteen months. About Oulder Hill Leadership Academy Oulder Hill Leadership Academy is a secondary school for 11 to 16 year olds in Rochdale, which joined Star Academies in March 2022. We are a rapidly improving school with high ambitions and expectations for all our pupils, as evidenced by our most recent Ofsted inspection in January 2025, when we were graded Good in all four areas of the inspection framework. Upon completing the Postgraduate Teaching Apprenticeship Programme, you ll be a qualified teacher with a job in the school where you trained with access to the National Institute of Teaching s flagship leadership programmes.
