Our client is a well-established, multi-partner practice with an extensive client portfolio made up of some very prestigious businesses. They're offering a fantastic career opportunity for an ambitious and career driven Senior Accountant who is looking to progress in their career. Our client has a medium-sized and excellent quality team of accountants and tax advisors, and they're now looking for a recently qualified Senior Accountant to join their team at the Senior Accountant/ Client Manager level. Their clients range from small start-up businesses through to sole traders, ltd companies and partnerships with turnovers up to £80m.
Our client works in a typical general practice capacity, and you will manage your own client portfolio across accounts and tax, but there will also be an opportunity to get involved in technical advisory services too such as corporate finance, valuations etc. You will report directly into the partners, and there is a fantastic opportunity to progress within this growing accountancy practice to Director and beyond.
You will currently be working in a medium to large independent practice, looking for a progressive opportunity, or in a Top 10/ Big 4 firm, looking to join an ambitious independent practice who can offer a fantastic career path.
Roles & Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant/ Client Manager
1. Accounts preparation and review for a wide range of companies
2. Preparation and review of both corporate tax and personal tax returns
3. Reviewing work completed by junior members of the team
4. Advising clients on tax and advisory matters, and being their first point of contact
5. Supporting clients with ad-hoc project work such as corporate finance, M&A
6. Working closely with the partners and the team to ensure that clients get the best service and advice
