Job Summary
A Supply Technologies Branch Manager is a General Manager responsible for overseeing and coordinating all operations of a branch from ensuring the attainment of sales goals to overseeing exceptional customer service and ensuring the branch delivers accretive financial performance to Supply Technologies. Building a rapport with customers and the community, creating and implementing strategies to improve productivity, hiring, onboarding & training staff and increasing sales performance in efforts to achieve the financial targets of the branch.
The Branch Manager ensures that the branch has all the tools and infrastructure needed to operate safely and successfully. The Branch Manager should strive towards growing the business by building successful, long-term relationships with a key focus on delivering high standards of customer service and upselling.
This position reports to the Regional Operations Manager UK South.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service and Development:
Manage the customer order book and oversee On-Time Delivery (OTD) ensuring customers receive orders timely and to the highest quality.
Meet all customer requirements and resolve any concerns raised by customers. Conduct regular engagements with customers and solicit feedback to review with local staff.
Works with customers to solicit new growth opportunities and find solutions that can enhance overall customer value.
Establishes and maintains a professional and courteous relationship with all customers and work team.
Engage with customers to understand changing demand requirements and feedback into Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) processes.
Personnel Management:
Identify, quantify, and maintain the necessary staffing levels required and optimise productivity.
Manage staff located in the branch as well as customer-based personnel.
Interview, hire, onboard and develop personnel.
Create a positive working environment fostering open communication and encouraging engagement with the communities where the branch is located.
Establish employee objectives and conduct performance appraisals.
Participate and promote the company's well-being program within the branch.
Facilitate and support the HR function within the company including any disciplinary action.
Facilities and Assets:
Adhere to safety programs, housekeeping and security responsibilities.
Secure company owned assets.
Maintain equipment and maintenance records where applicable.
Policy and Procedures:
Comply with policies & procedures that have been established by Supply Technologies or ParkOhio.
Knowledge and compliance with ISO standards.
Optimise Branch Performance:
Review, fully understand and forecast the monthly financial statements which include sales and inventory forecasting, manning, expenses, and A/P reporting.
Develop a comprehensive knowledge of On-Time Delivery, Lines Shipped, Shortages, Quality issues, Rejects and COGS.
Understand and optimise staffing requirements.
Establish productivity requirements for the various departments and employees.
Ensure Indicator meetings are held weekly and all departments are represented.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Safety:Knowledge and compliance with company and local safety standards.
Develop, implement, and direct programs to ensure the safety of all personnel to meet Company standards and federal regulations.
Ensure the efficient operation and utilisation of all warehouse equipment.
Monitor the cleanliness and working conditions of all equipment, overseeing repairs, adjustments or replacements as needed.
Reports all work related injuries to Human Resources and filing appropriate reports.
Actively promotes safety awareness and ensures the continued effectiveness of the programs.
Ensure the facility remains in compliance with local city, state, and federal regulations.

Education, Experience & Qualifications:
Bachelors degree is preferred.
Minimum three to five years of experience in branch operations.
Knowledge of monthly forecast and annual planning preferred.
Project Management experience is preferred.
Fastener knowledge preferred.
P&L experience.
Travel up to 10%.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Proven leadership skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
