Finance Manager, Luton, Bedfordshire (Hybrid working)
£55-£65kpa plus benefits, including bonus potential of up to 10%
Our client, a nationwide leader, is looking to hire a technically strong Finance Manager during an exciting period of growth. This role will be responsible for ensuring the setup and delivery of accurate and timely submission of accounting & reporting in accordance with head office accounting policy. The Finance Manager will oversee end-to-end finance processes, ultimately delivering the financial statements in line with IFRS.
Key Duties:
1. Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts for all Group companies and Group consolidation in accordance with financial reporting standards and best practices.
2. Prepare monthly management accounts with comparisons and analyses to budget, manage cashflow forecasts, assist in annual budget preparation, oversee financial statement preparation, including audit process management and tax return oversight.
3. Maintain a robust fixed asset register and ensure accurate VAT reporting.
4. Support the Group Finance Director with the annual budget setting process and preparation of forecasts.
5. Assist with technical accounting issues, including aspects of acquisition accounting.
6. Review, challenge, and implement changes to accounting and Management Information (MI) to provide maximum insight into company profitability.
The successful candidate will be fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with demonstrable experience aligned with the responsibilities outlined. Technical reporting skills are essential, and experience with consolidations is highly desirable.
