Associate Solicitor / Legal Executive - Tax & Estate Planning

Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Full Remuneration Package: £57,000-£70,000 DOE
A highly regarded and Legal 500-ranked firm is seeking an Associate Solicitor or Legal Executive to join its specialist Tax & Estate Planning team in Southampton.
The Role
You will manage a varied and high-quality caseload across all aspects of Tax & Estate Planning, including:
* Estate and trust administration
* Drafting and updating wills
* Variations of wills
* Preparation and registration of LPAs
* Advising on inheritance tax and capital gains tax matters
* Drafting trusts and trust documentation
* Succession and estate planning for private clients
You will also:
* Build and maintain strong client relationships
* Support and mentor junior team members
* Contribute to business development and networking activities
* Play a key role in the continued growth of the department
About You
* Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with ideally 3-5 PQE
* Strong experience across tax, trusts and estate planning matters
* Excellent technical drafting skills
* Good understanding of inheritance tax, CGT and trust law
* STEP qualified (or working towards) preferred
* Commercially minded with strong client care skills
* Confident supervising or mentoring junior colleagues
