Job Advert

As a Skills Clinic Leader, we are looking for someone who will bring his/her interests or skills to the running of the programme events, ensuring the children are well looked after, engaged, supported and most importantly have fun!

You’ll inspire young people to develop their own creativity, self-esteem and to value integrity, respect and collaboration with others. We divide the children into age groups and have different age-relevant activities planned for the day.

We run skills clinics for children aged 8-15 years old, every morning of Camp Williams, to learn a new hobby, practice a favourite sport or try something for the very first time.

If you have experience in coaching, teaching, leading or even enjoy archery as a hobby and believe kids will thrive at Camp Williams, you could be a Skills Clinic Leader!

This role is high energy, intense and jam-packed full of fun. You will have as much fun as the children in your care.

It suits someone looking to gain experience working with children, to support current studies or career progression by gaining substantial and meaningful experience during the school holidays.

Students, recent graduates, teachers and others working term times or week-ends only find Camp Williams a brilliant way to spend some or all of their school holidays.

We are also happy for you to return to work for us each school holiday and become a long-term member of our Camp team!

We operate through every Nottinghamshire County Council school holiday, based from the YMCA Community and Activity Village.

The camp day is 7.30am to 6pm and we operate Monday to Friday. We would also need you to commit for whole weeks for consistency of the children in our care. We love seeing Camp Leaders return each holiday and would be able to give some level of commitment to ongoing hours over an academic year.
