Job Overview HRGO Recruitment are seeking Warehouse Operatives to join a busy and fast‑paced warehouse team based in Rayleigh, Essex. This role is ideal for individuals who are hardworking, reliable, and able to operate effectively within a large warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities Goods In & Stock Handling Receive and unload deliveries, checking goods against delivery paperwork. Inspect all incoming stock for damage and report any issues promptly. Order Picking & Machine Operation Pick customer orders accurately using handheld scanners or pick sheets. Operate warehouse machinery as required. Ensure all items are correctly labelled before dispatch. Dispatch & Loading Prepare and pack orders securely for delivery. Load vehicles safely while following correct manual handling procedures. Work alongside drivers and the transport team to meet dispatch deadlines. Health & Safety Follow all warehouse safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised working area. Use equipment such as FLT and PPT in line with company training and H&S guidelines. Report hazards, equipment faults, and near‑miss incidents. General Operations Assist with regular stock checks and inventory counts. Support colleagues to achieve daily operational targets. Contribute to continuous improvement and efficiency within the warehouse. Skills & Experience Essential Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment. Ability to carry out manual handling tasks safely. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Team player with the ability to work efficiently to deadlines. Personal Attributes Reliable, punctual, and proactive. Positive attitude with a willingness to learn. Able to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
