We are a newly refurbished skin centre that will enable collaborative working with plastic surgery colleagues.
Services available include day case surgery, (MOHS) micrographic surgery, paediatric dermatology, lymphoma, phototherapy, photodynamic therapy, drug monitoring / biologics clinic, and patch testing. We have an active Day Treatment Unit, as well as Nurse Treatment clinics providing cryotherapy, intralesional steroid injections, and iontophoresis. Our team of Specialist Dermatology Outreach nurses supervises dermatology in-patients and medical/surgical patients with skin complaints on the acute wards. We hold active academic meetings and provide SPA time to attend the RSM, St John’s Society meetings, and the Oxford Regional meeting.
We pride ourselves on developing our team by offering support with CESR.
Main duties of the job
Applications are invited for a full-time Dermatology Specialty Doctor at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust. The post holder will join a team of five consultants, specialty trust doctors, junior staff, and specialist nurses to provide high-quality and safe outpatient and inpatient care. We seek enthusiastic, dynamic, and committed individuals who deliver services reflecting best clinical practice in Dermatology. The applicant must have experience in diagnosing and managing all aspects of general dermatology. The Dermatology Department is based at Amersham Hospital.

Qualifications/Training
* Allergy or Immunology-related qualifications.
Skills, knowledge, and personal attributes
Experience
* Experience of teaching undergraduates and trainees. Experience of routine clinical audit.
* Knowledge of NHS organization and the Government’s agenda for modernization.
Other requirements
* Full Driving Licence and regular access to a car.
PPE requirements: Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust requires all colleagues to wear appropriate PPE in accordance with infection prevention and control procedures.
