Overview
Based in Crawley, West Sussex. Our client is a Telecoms supplier covering the South East of England from offices near Gatwick. Due to continued expansion, they are recruiting additional members for their Business Development sales teams.
Responsibilities
Your role will be to target the SME & Corporate sector in the South East of England, selling a range of Mobile, Connectivity (Broadband and leased lines), Hosted IP Voice and Security. You will sell to companies of up to 250 employees, promoting our client’s products and services. The role requires a consultative sales approach, understanding the decision making processes and business needs to tailor packages for clients. It involves self‑opportunity generation as well as responding to leads generated and direct selling. Sales Executives will have the opportunity to manage the accounts that they secure for the purposes of referral and repeat business. A strong work ethic is essential; the role is predominantly office based, with occasional customer site visits to facilitate the sale.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have 2 years telecoms sales experience. Experience from outside the Telecom arena will be considered if there is synergy of B2B selling in a competitive, target‑driven environment to SME clients. Resilience, confidence in making outbound calls, influencing and persuading others, handling objections, and an understanding of emerging technology are required. Familiarity with software such as Salesforce would be an advantage.
