A welcoming mainstream primary school in Cheltenham is looking to appoint a SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This is a long-term role for the rest of the academic year, with the potential to continue beyond.
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll support pupils with a range of special educational needs (SEN), including autism, ADHD, global developmental delay, and SEMH. Experience supporting children with SEN in a school or care setting
A calm, patient, and resilient approach
Strong behaviour management and communication skills
GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths- grade C/4 or above
