Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer with a background in electrical design, control systems, or commissioning, looking to join a well-established manufacturer with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, tailored solutions?
On offer is an exciting opportunity to join a specialist engineering business where youll work across electrical design, controls, and commissioning projects. Youll take ownership of electrical engineering tasks, collaborating with clients and internal teams to deliver practical
solutions that meet technical, safety, and commercial requirements.
This company were established in 2014 and are hiring due to substantial growth and investment. They specialise in wastewater management and pride themselves on being a real market leader.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys a hands-on role producing electrical documentation, supporting commissioning, and troubleshooting control systems, while looking to broaden their technical expertise.
The Role:
Produce and review electrical design documents including FDS, load schedules, cable schedules, and wiring schematics
Develop control strategies and technical documentation to define project programming requirements
Liaise with clients, application specialists, and subcontractors during design, build, and commissioning stages
Support on-site installation, commissioning, operator training, and warranty commitments
Carry out site surveys, supervise subcontractors, and attend FAT/SAT testing as required
The Person:
HNC or above in Electrical/Control Engineering (or equivalent experience)
Knowledge of the 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations and C&G 2382
Proven background in electrical design, control systems, or commissioning, ideally within the water industry
