We are looking for motivated and hardworking individuals to join us as Warehouse Operators at our CO-OP Dekit site in West Thurrock (RM20 3ED). As part of our team, you’ll be at the heart of our recycling operations, processing cardboard, plastics, and food waste. This fast-paced and dynamic role offers plenty of opportunities for personal development and career growth.
You will be working on an ‘any 5 from 7’ shift pattern, on a fixed shift from 10:00 to 19:30.

* Hourly salary of £12.69 plus £1 per hour attendance bonus

What You’ll Do on a typical Day
* Unload and reload materials from lorries, including cages, cardboard, plastic and food waste
* Work in a dynamic, physically active environment, efficiently sorting, moving and recycling materials
* Empty cages of cardboard onto the baling machine for compaction
* Carry out all tasks with a keen focus on safety, hygiene and quality standards
* Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to strict hygiene and quality guidelines
What you need to succeed at GXO
* No prior experience is needed – we will provide all the training you need to succeed
* A good level of physical stamina, as this is an active, hands-on role
* Clear communication skills, both spoken and written
* A willingness to thrive in a fast-paced environment, handling a variety of tasks
* The ability to work both independently and as part of a team is crucial
* Can-do attitude with a willingness to learn something new
