Contract: Permanent, Full time, Term Time Only
Pay Grade: Mainscale 1-6/ Upper pay scale 1-3 TLR1b (£12,520)
Salary: £32,916 - £51,048 per annum
Responsibilities
* Raise standards of student attainment, achievement and progress within the whole curriculum area.
* Monitor and support student progress; be accountable for student progress and development within the English subject area.
* Develop and enhance curriculum implementation and pedagogical development of others.
* Ensure the provision of a broad, balanced and ambitious English curriculum in line with academy aims and curricular policies determined by the DHT i/c of Curriculum and Pedagogy.
* Lead, manage and develop the subject/curriculum area; effectively deploy teaching, support staff, and financial and physical resources within the subject area to support the development plan.
