Operations and Sales Manager - Double Glazing
Location: Welwyn Garden City.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm (office based).
Parking available.
Reflex Elite Windows is seeking an experienced and motivated Operations and Sales Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of our double-glazing business. This is a key role combining sales, customer service, and operational management, ensuring smooth delivery of projects from initial enquiry through to installation.
Responsibilities
* Manage the full sales process: taking enquiries, preparing and issuing quotes, and closing contracts.
* Book in customer appointments, surveys, and installations with accuracy and efficiency.
* Act as the first point of contact in the showroom, engaging with customers and advising on product options.
* Liaise with customers via telephone and email, providing updates and resolving queries.
* Use window design software (Window Designer, Tommy Trina, or AdminBase) to create accurate job specifications.
* Supervise and support an assistant, delegating tasks to ensure smooth operations.
* Maintain accurate records of jobs, contracts, and customer interactions.
* Coordinate with fitting teams to ensure jobs are scheduled and delivered on time.
Skills and Experience
* Proven experience in sales and/or operations within the double-glazing, fenestration, or home improvement industry.
* Strong telephone and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers.
* Competence in using industry software (Window Designer, Tommy Trina, or AdminBase preferred).
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
* Confident managing workloads, prioritising tasks, and supervising others.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and general office administration.
