Primary/Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant
* Day Rate: £90-£95
* Location: Horsham
* Own transport required due to location
* Availability: Full-Time
* Working Hours: 08:30-15:15, Mon-Fri
We are currently recruiting for a SEN school in the Horsham area which cater for both primary and secondary aged pupils. The position is a great opportunity to grow your skillset and create positive change for young people whilst contributing towards a nurturing and therapeutic environment.
Day to Day of the role
* Support teachers and work alongside other support staff and therapists to deliver a tailored curriculum.
* Help prepare learning materials and facilitate classroom activities.
* Address the emotional and physical needs of pupils, aiding their development and engagement.
* Provide hands-on support and supervision, both indoors and outdoors, to pupils with complex Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
* Contribute to the pupils’ learning journeys, guiding them to exceed their potential.
Required Skills & Qualifications
1. GCSE C or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
2. Experience with SEN and working within a school environment.
3. Adaptability to work in various classroom roles and settings.
