This is an exciting opportunity to become part of our very successful Pastoral Team. The post holder will need to have experience of working with a range of professionals in order to support children & families to stay safe, secure, and ready to learn. As the Designated Deputy Safeguarding Lead, it will entail working closely with our Pastoral Team to support vulnerable pupils, and collaborating with Social Care and Early Help Workers.
The role requires the ability to support children with their well‑being & mental health, delivering both Tier 1 & 2 support as a pastoral manager. The successful applicant will work as part of an established team, have strong communication skills, and bring a sense of humour. We are eager to appoint a person with a good understanding of Social Care thresholds and the challenges of working with young children & their families, and who is prepared to work hard to keep children safe.
