Pay: £13.68 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)
Location: Levenshulme, Manchester - fully onsite
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm
Contract: 1-2 month temporary assignment
About the Role
A well-established organisation in Levenshulme is seeking an experienced Administrator to support its fleet, plant, and utilities operations during a busy post-Christmas period. This role is critical to clearing a backlog of work while ensuring day-to-day operational coordination runs smoothly in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
You will join a supportive, collaborative team and play a key role in maintaining service levels, coordinating resources, and ensuring accurate administrative control within a regulated, operational setting.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will provide administrative and coordination support to plant and utility operations, including:
* Handling high-volume calls, emails, and operational queries, prioritising time-critical issues.
* Providing administrative control and coordination support across plant, fleet, or utility activities.
* Processing, checking, and filing operational documentation accurately and in line with compliance requirements.
* Supporting the clearance of a post-Christmas backlog while maintaining service level agreements (SLAs).
* Updating internal systems to ensure accurate, real-time records of equipment, resources, and activities.
* Coordinating with internal teams, suppliers, and contractors to support operational efficiency.
* Preparing reports, summaries, and operational updates for management.
* Maintaining organised digital and physical filing systems.
* Identifying process improvements to enhance workflow, efficiency, and compliance.
* Supporting team members during peak operational periods.
What We're Looking For
This role requires relevant, hands-on experience within plant, utilities, or similar operational environments. The successful candidate will demonstrate:
* Proven experience in call handling, administration, coordination, or control roles within a fast-paced environment.
* Hands-on experience in plant operations, utilities, or a similar discipline, with an understanding of industry-specific processes and compliance.
* Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
* Ability to manage high-volume, time-sensitive workloads under pressure.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, liaising confidently with internal teams, suppliers, and clients.
* Experience maintaining SLAs and resolving operational issues efficiently.
* Confidence using IT systems, databases, and standard office software.
* A proactive, adaptable approach with strong problem-solving skills.
