Responsibilities
* Assist with the training and development of onsite chefs across a portfolio of schools
* Cover sickness across sites and be part of the mobilisation team
* Support the operations manager across their portfolio of sites
* Provide kitchen support when needed and maintain high standards of food and service
Requirements / Qualifications
* Chef management experience (ideally from secondary education)
* Passion for food and service; craft skills to support in the kitchen
* Self-motivated, resilient and highly organised; able to prioritise effectively
* Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle (area role)
Area and Schedule
* Area covering: Wigan, Chester, Blackpool & Bolton
* Working days: Monday to Friday
* Shifts & working hours: 38 hours per week
* Working weeks: 39 weeks per year (term time + inset days)
Salary and Benefits
* Pay: £14 per hour plus mileage (reimbursed)
