Key Responsibilities of the Stock Controller: Stock Control & Systems Processing works orders: issuing stock, booking finished goods, maintaining FIFO & batch rotation Completing weekly/monthly cycle counts & providing performance metrics Managing MRB/Quarantine inventory and maintaining 100% system accuracy Investigating slow-moving, damaged or non-conforming stock Supporting the rollout and development of the Warehouse Management System (WMS) Conducting audit counts & investigations with the Warehouse Manager Stock Adjustments & Reconciliation Actioning stock adjustments for all materials: raw materials, propellants, chemicals & components Updating sales orders to reflect actual finished goods produced Monthly PI checks and ERP updates Propellant & bulk chemical reconciliations Producing monthly usage reports for finance Customer & Internal Liaison Handling client stock check requests and queries promptly Working with operations, finance, purchasing, warehouse & production Managing reject/out-of-date stock in SAGE Completing free-issue stock checks Sales Invoicing Support Raising despatch notes and commercial invoices Checking pricing/supplements and issuing sales invoices Emailing invoices to customers as required General Duties Supporting conversions on SAGE and creating reports Reception cover & telephone handling Assisting with vehicle despatch and paperwork Skills & Experience Experienced in stock control within manufacturing, warehousing or production Confident working with ERP systems (SAGE experience beneficial) Accurate, methodical and detail-oriented Strong at communication and cross-team collaboration Proactive, reliable and committed to maintaining high standards If you take pride in getting stock right — every time — we want to hear from you.
