Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks related to materials handling, ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality control.
Responsibilities
* Load and unload goods from lorries and containers
* Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
* Manage inventory using a Warehouse Management System (WMS)
* Assist with shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate documentation
* Perform picking and packing of orders with attention to detail
* Stock shelves and organise products within the warehouse
* Conduct quality control checks on incoming and outgoing products
* Handle heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment
Experience
* Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential
* Familiarity with materials handling techniques and equipment
* Knowledge of shipping & receiving processes is advantageous
* Mechanical knowledge to assist with minor repairs or maintenance of equipment is beneficial
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated
