Role & Responsibilities
* Product design and development of medical devices from concept to market release
* Create parametrically editable 3D models of legacy products
* Provide engineering requirements for ECOs
* Communicate technical information (verbal/written) underpinned by engineering principles and evidence in a clear and concise manner (GDP)
* Carry out design updates for any changes as part of the change‑management process
* Verification and validation of components and assemblies (ISIR and appropriate testing, as required)
* Record all formal and relevant informal engineering information in the PLM system
* Modification/amendment of new/existing drawings in accordance with design standards
* Other reasonable duties which may be requested by your manager from time to time
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
* Problem‑solving techniques (e.g., DFMEA/Risk Analysis)
* Experience in compilation of usability engineering files
* Background in manufacturing is preferred
* Experience working as a design engineer within a manufacturing environment
* Degree qualified person with 1–2 years design experience is a perfect fit for this role
* Bill of Materials creation and management
