Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong management and leadership skills, with a passion for working with children. Responsibilities
* Assist the Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with all regulations and policies.
* Provide leadership and support to staff, fostering a positive team environment.
* Engage with children in educational activities, promoting their development and well-being.
* Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns.
* Ensure that all health and safety standards are met within the nursery setting.
* Support staff training and development initiatives to enhance childcare practices.
* Manage administrative tasks as required, including record keeping and reporting.
* Drive initiatives that promote early childhood education within the community.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in management or leadership roles within a childcare setting is essential.
* Background in early childhood education or related fields is highly desirable.
* Experience working with children, particularly in a nursery environment, is preferred.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
* A valid driving licence is advantageous for potential off-site activities or training sessions.
