Experienced Mental Health Social Worker, Adult Social Care, Permanent, Full Time (37 hours).
Salary Range £38,626 - £42,708
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Social Worker with a passion for working in mental health. Candidates should have post-qualification experience or have successfully completed the ASYE Programme to join Northumberland County Council Adults, Ageing & Wellbeing Directorate.
The current opportunity is in our newly established Intensive Social Work Mental Health Team, which collaborates with the AMHP and inpatient teams. This team supports individuals with serious mental illness, providing a countywide approach with intensive and assertive outreach support for this client group and their families. Our model promotes joined-up continuity of care and shared responsibility among stakeholders to manage risk and prevent further deterioration in the mental health of working-age adults with serious mental illness, addressing wider social determinants of mental health.

Essential requirements:
* Degree in Social Work (or equivalent), with a valid Social Work England registration, and successful completion of the ASYE programme.
* Due to the nature of this role, a valid driving licence and access to a car for work purposes are essential.
