Your Role as Finance Manager:
The Finance Manager will oversee all finance functions, ensuring tight financial controls while improving processes within financial reporting. You will manage a team of three direct reports and work closely with the Senior Operations team. Key responsibilities include maintaining relationships with stakeholders, presenting monthly budgets and forecasts with commentary, consolidating data from various entities, and focusing on cash flow forecasts and debt collection.
* Track KPIs, including cash flow forecasts and debt recovery
* Participate in internal and external audits
* Build relationships across the business to demonstrate the value of Finance and promote best practices
* Guide decision-making to ensure compliance with client and Head Office standards
* Prepare monthly management accounts, with a focus on quarter-end and year-end closures
* Consolidate reporting, analyze variances, and provide commentary for the Executive Director
* Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and managing Capex spending and investment cases
Experience & Qualifications Required:
The ideal candidate will have experience managing the daily functions of a finance team, with strong commercial and financial acumen, and the ability to analyze complex data accurately. You should have excellent communication skills, experience managing three junior staff, and hold a recognized qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or CTA). Ideally, this experience will have been gained in a relevant setting.
