A well-established and award-winning regional law firm is seeking an experienced Family Solicitor to join their highly regarded team. About the Role
Working as part of a collaborative and successful Family Law department, your role will include:
* Advising on a full range of family law matters including divorce, separation, and financial settlements
* Handling private children law cases, including residence and contact arrangements
* Managing domestic abuse and injunction proceedings
* Dealing with TOLATA claims and cohabitation disputes
* Drafting cohabitation and prenuptial agreements
* Ensuring effective financial control and adherence to billing targets
* Supporting colleagues and supervising junior team members as needed
* Following risk management, compliance, and quality control procedures
The Ideal Candidate
The successful applicant will possess:
* Qualification as a Solicitor or Legal Executive with demonstrable experience in family law
* A minimum of 2 years PQE (guideline only – all levels considered on merit)
* The ability to manage a varied caseload with minimal supervision
* Excellent communication and client care skills
* Confidence with IT systems and case management software
* A proactive approach to business development and marketing
* Flexibility to accommodate business needs, including occasional weekend work
