SEN Teaching Assistant – Full Time
Location: Bury, Greater Manchester
Contract: Full time, Monday to Friday, term time only
We are currently recruiting for a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to support within a specialist school in the Bury area, starting after the Easter break.
This is a long-term opportunity within a well-established setting supporting pupils with a range of additional needs including SEMH, Autism and moderate learning difficulties. The school is looking for someone consistent, reliable and able to build strong relationships with pupils who require additional support and structure.
The role will involve:
* Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis
* Assisting with behaviour management and emotional regulation
* Supporting learning within the classroom environment
* Encouraging engagement and participation in lessons
* Working closely with teaching and pastoral staff
The ideal candidate will:
* Have experience working with SEN or SEMH pupils
* Be confident managing behaviour and building rapport
* Be patient, resilient and proactive
* Be available full time

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
