Role Overview
AXA is seeking a Project Consultant with strong experience in organisation design and project delivery to join our People team on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. The role involves coaching and challenging leaders, conducting research, analysing data and developing pragmatic organisational solutions to support our transformation agenda.
Key Responsibilities
* Work alongside Strategic People Partners, the People Projects team and business stakeholders to scope, design and manage project delivery.
* Deliver effective organisational designs that add value to the business, colleagues and customers.
* Manage project controls and procedures within given initiatives.
* Build and sustain collaborative relationships across the organisation, producing presentation packs and business cases for key stakeholders.
* Provide regular feedback on progress, milestones and blockers to keep Strategic Partners, the People Projects team and stakeholders fully engaged.
* Lead project communications, including training managers on messaging for change initiatives, ensuring quality and consistency.
* Offer expert advice on organisation design, people policies, processes and procedures related to project delivery.
* Analyse HR MI to provide data‑driven solutions and strategies.
Essential Criteria / Qualifications
* Excellent knowledge and working experience of managing change or transformation projects, specifically in organisation design.
* Familiarity with project management methodologies and the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Experience working with data, analysing information, identifying trends, linking findings to business priorities and developing actionable recommendations.
* Strong stakeholder management skills with excellent interpersonal and relationship‑building capabilities.
* Excellent organisational skills; pragmatic and calm under time‑pressured situations.
* Ability to influence managers at senior level and employees at all levels.
* Proficiency in handling sensitive situations while ensuring confidentiality.
* Eligibility and authorisation to work in the United Kingdom.
