The Vacancy
We are recruiting for a part time Catering Assistant to join our friendly catering team at the Hospice in Brentry.
Working in a supportive and collaborative environment for a much-loved local Charity dedicated to making a difference in the lives of thousands of patients, their families and carers when it matters most, you will help to prepare, cook and serve food and beverages to patients.
The details
* 16 hours per week
* 14:30 - 18:30 Mondays, Thursdays, Friday, and every other weekend
* 9:00 - 13:00Fridays
What you will do
* Be a vital part of the cateringoperation and ensure our busy kitchensrun smoothly
* Assist with the preparation, cooking and serving of food and beverages.
* Keep the kitchen and dining areas clean and tidy
What you willbring:
* A can-do attitude and flexible approach to working
* Excellent attention to detail, plus good communication skills
* Previous experience (at least 6 months) in a similar role
* Able to work independently and as a team member
* General knowledge of health and safety procedures
* Basic Food Hygiene Qualification
* Knowledge of allergy requirements
