We are looking for a talented and driven Purchase Ledger Lead to oversee our purchase ledger team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our accounts payable processes.
About the Role
* Lead and support our dedicated team to ensure that tasks are completed accurately and on time.
* Oversee the processing of supplier invoices, swiftly resolve any discrepancies and maintain meticulous records.
* Use your expertise in managing payment runs to guarantee timely payments to suppliers and ensure that statements are reconciled accurately.
* Prepare comprehensive reports on purchase ledger activities, analysing data to provide valuable insights to the Head of Finance.
* Conduct regular audits and implement improvements to uphold our internal policies.
* Maintain the integrity and efficiency of our accounts payable processes, contributing to the overall financial health of the company.
About You
* 5+ years of experience in accounts payable or purchase ledger roles.
* Proven experience in a leadership or team leader position.
* Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and best practices.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
